"I have known George Rodenhausen and work with him and his firm on municipal matters for well over 10 years. In my six years as Supervisor of the Town of Hyde Park, I was privileged to appoint and work with him as the Town Attorney and his partners and associates at Rapport Meyers on matters as diverse as municipal finance, planning and zoning, tax assessment challenges and Article 78 litigations. I depended greatly on their legal advice on all governmental matters and their advice was always excellent and cost effective. If I were to run again as Town Supervisor, I would want George Rodenhausen and the firm of Rapport Meyers at my side from the start."

"I have used Rapport Meyers for over fifteen years for advice and litigation defense on gasoline releases at my nine service stations. They have always given me excellent, prompt and practical advice on the State Spill Law and defended Premium effectively in cost recovery litigation by the New York State Spill Fund. They know what they are doing when it comes to the Spill Law and dealings with DEC."
- Robert Blank, President of Premium Gas Service, Inc.
"I go to Rapport Meyers for almost all my company's legal work, and have done so for almost two decades. My needs range from advice in dealing with environmental site remediation and DEC's Brownfields program to refinancings and negotiating and closing real estate and business transactions. I love the firm. They're friendly, quick and smart."
- Bob Fedigan, President, Wire Mill LLC, Ossining, New York
"Cortina Mountain Estates is in the process of seeking final approval for the largest development currently being proposed in Greene County. Our intent is to build this project with the highest regard to the environment and concern for the local economy."I am writing to express my gratitude and appreciation in the manner in which Jason Shaw and Rapport Meyers have represented Cortina Mountain Estates. Before you got involved we were having a difficult time moving our project forward. Since your involvement, you have been instrumental in coordinating our efforts with the applicable local, state and federal entities to get our project productively on track. One of you and your firm's most appealing traits to our group is your level of sincere concern and the manner in which you take our input into consideration in representing us. There is a true sense of a team effort in all facets of our relationship. We are also very pleased and impressed in the manner in which you have represented us to date at the local, state, and federal levels. You are always prepared to address issues and present points and counterpoints articulately and factually. You have shown patience and strength in dealing with these agencies while always providing a credible and virtually non-disputable point of view that represents our best interests.
We look to a long relationship with continuing successful results on this and on future projects, in the years to come."
- David S. Baker, Managing Member, Cortina Mountain Estates, Red Bank, New Jersey.
"Rapport Meyers is a full service municipal law firm which provided the New York State Bridge Authority with all of the legal services needed during my tenure in office. The lawyers are highly competent and we were always well represented."
- George Sinnott, Former Executive Director, New York State Bridge Authority
"I had an accident that altered my life. On an extremely windy day, an unattended vendor's cart blew over on me at a thruway rest stop. The cart knocked me over as I walked past, catching me mid-stride and snapping one leg over the other. There were complications, so my injury took a long time to heal. Two months later I was still in a wheelchair, and because of the inactivity, I had a pulmonary embolism. It was massive and nearly killed me. It also put an end to my 28-year career in advertising.
At this point I sought out legal help. I spoke with Carmi Rapport and Jason Shaw at Rapport, Meyers, Whitbeck, Shaw and Rhodenhausen , and I also spoke with a firm in New York City. I thought I'd end up going with the New York City law firm, but I found that the team at Rapport, Meyers asked smarter questions, were more responsive, and seemed to be more concerned about me as an individual.
It was a long and arduous process through depositions, mediation, and prepping for our time in court. Never once did I regret my choice of law firms to represent me. They took a firm stance and didn't waver. In the courtroom, I felt intelligently and eloquently represented and in the end I was very pleased with the results.
Recently, at a stop on the thruway, I noticed that these carts were now anchored to the pavement to prevent them from possibly injuring others. A smart and sensible thing to do. Thank you, Rapport, Meyers, Whitbeck, Shaw and Rhodenhausen."
